[COF] Friday Newsletter - Chasing Money Vs..

I know the Friday is over but I just got time to work.

This week was not so great in terms of work. I was occupied in the farming work due to some unexpected issues. I tell you - farming is more difficult than blogging.

Anyways..

I want to share something very important that I was pondering over this week.

Chasing Money Vs. Chasing Meaningful Things.

I admit that I started chasing money in 2019. I tried to optimise my business to generate maximum money. My email funnels were designed to make money. I have hired consultants & experts to run paid Ads -> to make money through webinars.

And you know what - it worked.

I was making 30,000 Rs. every week by spending less than 10,000 Rs. on Ads. And the next plan was to 10x the Ads.

I was making money from clients. I was making money from affiliate business.

But I lost something important - the meaningful stuff.

This meaningful stuff can be different for every person. For you it could be music, dance, art, charity, unconditional help..

Then I got introduced to permaculture farming.. and I started losing my interest in business growth.

I stopped chasing money.

My life became more beautiful with less money.

What a wonderful way of living..

Reply to this email and tell me what is your meaningful stuff that you value more than money.

PPS:

The community discussions are going great.. I would like to share this answer for a Digital Marketing related question.. in case you missed in the Telegram group

"No one can teach you marketing unless you have a burning desire to learn..

If you have.. then start practical work

Maybe..

1. Start a blog

2. Start YouTube channel

3. Start ecom

4. Start a paid campaign to sell Rs. 99 product

Do something that you are comfortable with.

Invest time and money.. we already wasted lacks of rupees and 15+ years in formal education that failed to provide us a job that we love..

Work hard.. don't be afraid to invest.

But remember, all courses are suppliments.. would you depend on suppliments for a good health?

No, right?

You would work hard in the gym and control your diet. Repeat that for 6 months to get the results.

Similarly, work hard on your blog and control your habits of TV/Media/Gossip.

Be consistent to get the results.

I have not seem any result on the trees that I planted 8 months back in my farm.. but if I nurture those for next 3 years then I will get some fruits "
