Hi Candidate,
Your mind is the frenemy of your body.
You're friends with it...but it also hates you.
It wants you to feel good, to think of yourself as a good person, and most of all, to feel SAFE...
But sometimes it won't tell you the truth. Ironically, sometimes the hardest truths are right in front of our faces, but our mind tricks us into looking for 50 false problems instead of the 1 real problem.
Hey, my mind does this. So does yours.
So today, a quick list of FALSE problems vs. REAL problems.
See if you can spot at least 2 that are true for you.
FALSE PROBLEM: 'If I invest in the stock market, I might lose money.'
REAL PROBLEM: By not investing, I am losing money every day to inflation. Running out of money is an absolute certainty.
***
FALSE PROBLEM: 'I need to improve my productivity. Should I get this app, or that Amazonian coffee, or do transcendental meditation at 2:22pm?'
REAL PROBLEM: Stop messing around, put your computer away at 10:30pm, and go to sleep by 11:15pm.
***
FALSE PROBLEM: 'I want to lose weight. Should I take raspberry ketones, probiotics, or superfoods?'
REAL PROBLEM: I eat too much.
***
FALSE PROBLEM: 'There's too much Whitney Houston on the radio.'
REAL PROBLEM: This is not a problem.
You see false problems in business, too.
FALSE PROBLEM: 'Should I invest in Facebook ads or Instagram ads?'
REAL PROBLEM: I see other people doing it, so I feel jealous. I don't even know if their new "followers" are actually buying anything.
***
FALSE PROBLEM: 'I don't have time to do webinars, contests, guest posts, social media, create products...'
REAL PROBLEM: I might be spending my time on activities that feel important but don't actually move the needle. How can I tell the difference?

These are SUPER normal. My mind plays these tricks on me, too. It's way more comfortable to chase after little tactical nuggets instead of confronting the real problems...that's why they're called "hard problems!"
But I think life is about uncovering the real problems. Because no matter how uncomfortable they might be to admit, once you know -- at least you can do something about it.
So think about what you might be avoiding or procrastinating on. Maybe you've said, "I just need ___ to fix it." Is that really the thing? Or is there a REAL problem your mind is trying to hide from you?
I gotta say, I'm thankful for the people who've pointed out my real problems. That's what I'm going to email you more about this week.
For business, I'm focusing on one of the most pivotal parts of any business: your traffic and customers.
You might already have a small business, or a multimillion-dollar business. Maybe you have no business at all!
Doesn't matter to me. I've been at all those levels. I promise, there are REAL problems that your mind will try to hide. I'll help you confront and crush those false beliefs.
Quick highlights of this week:
Wednesday, I'm going to show you what happened when I spent $2,000,000 on Facebook ads. Not a typo.
Tomorrow, I'm opening up my course all about building an automated, scalable traffic engine on your business. This is the same system that powers I Will Teach You To Be Rich, but you can use this engine:
- For any online business
- As a consultant or coach
- As an author or speaker -- anyone with an audience they want to grow
Today, I've got some videos to take you deeper into the "real problems vs false problems" divide in business. I'll paste the links at the bottom of this email.
This is going to be fun.
