All right, I'm going to keep this short today.

A while ago, I wrote a post about how to test responses at bars. It's one of my favorites.

Think about the typical answers to "What do you do?"

"I'm an engineer"..."I live in NYC"..."I like yoga"....

ZzzZzzz. BORING

What if you could have an answer that's 10x better? I covered how to test responses at bars and business meetings here.

Testing doesn't just apply to your introduction. What I don't usually talk about is that, at any given time, we're running 10+ business tests behind the scenes. They can have a powerful, cumulative impact. My philosophy is: If you're doing something, why not do it 100%?

So every so often, I dive into our IWT Testing Vault and review our test results.

Today I decided to pull out an unpublished test result: 

Simply by changing one headline, we increased conversions 56%.

Headline tests are just one very minor test in your arsenal
of growing an online business

A 56% improvement! Let's say you got 100 subscribers a day. Now, with the same traffic, you could have 156 subscribers a day.

If each subscriber is worth $1, that's an additional $20,440 per year. (I show you how to do this in Zero to Launch.) And this is the simplest of all tests we run.

I don't know about you guys, but if I got the chance to learn from someone else's experience -- someone who could give you a peek inside all their tests to see what's working and what's not -- I would JUMP at the chance.

This is the FUN part of starting an online business. We'll dig in more later. (Hint: Headline tests are fun, but there's so much more you can do.)
