Can you believe it was 9 years ago that we were graced with the first ever B&D article?
The first real writing I ever did was called The Time is Now (How to Get Ready for the Opportunity).
And I was right. The time was now, and I was ready for the opportunity.
All I did was listen to my gut and I did what I knew to be right.
What did I know to be right?
I knew working a job was for slobs and I knew that making money on my own was the only ticket to freedom.
So I went for it with full gusto.
I put every ounce of energy into building Bold & Determined.
And wouldn't you know it?
Every ounce of energy is all it took to build the life of a millionaire.
But as we all know, so many people who punch a time clock at 9 and again at 5 tell me that "money doesn't buy happiness."
If money doesn't buy happiness, and I would agree that it doesn't, then why are you trading your time for it?
You punch a time clock at 9 am and again at 5 pm just so that you can get a little bit of cash.
I do whatever I want, whenever I want, I never trade my time for money, and money just comes to me like I'm a magnet for success.
Money doesn't buy happiness, but toiling and laboring for it sure does buy misery. That was OBVIOUS to me, even back then.
