You should know how to put a price on the domain name before you enter into the domain investing industry. Search for a premium domain names on Godaddy to get the idea of what people are demanding.
Anyone can ask anything.
But all domains are not sold at what people are asking for.
Buyers negotiate.
You can list your domain names on following 4 websites and wait for the buyers

The second way to sell is by outreaching to the potential buyers.
For example, if you have a domain name related to car insurance. You can make a list of car insurance companies and dealers. Send them email that you have a relevant domain name that can fetch them more buyers & business.
Hint: The outreach strategy has very low conversion.
People make money from domains by mixing outbound & inbound strategies.
The real talent is not in selling but in buying the quality domains. If you are having a good domain then you can get good value.
However, no one would pay a penny for a low value domain.
