Maybe we disagree on a few percentages here or there — but can we agree that there's a lot of weird advice online?
It's everywhere:
- "Stop drinking lattes and you can use the savings to buy a rustic Tuscan vineyard" (in 34,000 years)
- "You NEED to watch Mr. Robot" (don't)
- (What's some weird advice you've read?)
It's even worse in the business space, where for most readers it can be difficult to tell the difference between experts who know what they're talking about and those who repeat clichéd advice.
Take launches, for example.
Let's say you want to launch a product. Maybe you have an idea, maybe not, but you browse around and end up discovering the advice that you "need" to use FB apps, affiliates, 12 webinars...
You end up with a Frankenstein launch!
