This is your weekly segment of 5-Star Friday, a short list of the things I'm enjoying or pondering this week. 

*Blog I'm Reading
Life Math Money - There are a lot of newer blogs (and YouTube channels) coming online that are doing a lot of great work. Life Math Money is one of the newer blogs I'm excited about. It's simple, short, and straight to the point. It's also no-bullshit. What more can you ask for? I'd recommend starting with this one: How To Improve Your Concentration and Focus. One great thing about Life Math Money is that he frequently releases new content, it's not one of those blogs that start-up strong and then just disappear.  

*What I'm watching

30 DAYS CARNIVORE REVIEW | THE GOOD,THE BAD & THE UGLY - The zero-carb carnivore diet has been good to me and I like to see what experience other people have on the carnivore diet. Usually, the response to the diet is ... "wow, I cannot believe how this diet changed my life". The biggest benefits people talk about are better digestion, better mental clarity, and better mood and mood stability, as well as healing some underlying medical conditions. Personally, I knew all about the powers of the zero-carb diet years ago, but I just forgot about it. And there was a time when I was eating too much fruit and grains and felt like I was developing diabetes. I would have saved myself some trouble had I stuck with the simple, tried-and-true "steak and eggs" diet. Even if I eat carbs or "cheat meals" every now and again, I always go back to the zero-carb diet as my base. 

*Daily exercise I'm doing
100-300 bodyweight squats per day
- 8 years ago I released
30 Days of Discipline and in 30 Days of Discipline you are required to do 100 pushups, 100 bodyweight squats, and 100 situps each and every day. I am right back at square one doing this same thing (minus the situps). In fact, I do between 100 and 300 bodyweight squats every single day and it's been the best thing I've done in a long time. My legs feel GREAT! They feel incredible! I tell you, boy, we sit down too much today. Way too much! Because of this it was highly important for me to do bodyweight squats everyday just to "wake up" the thigh and glute muscles. My legs feel better than they've felt in years. I am personally doing very wide stance squats in an effort to target the glutes and hips moreso than the quads. 

*What I'm watching

Street Preacher casts out demons in Toronto - If you've been listening to the B&D Podcast you know that demonic possession is something we've discussed a few times. We even dedicated an episode to the exorcism of one our podcast listeners. In this video a street preacher exorcises a man who, I guess, believes he was possessed. Normally I'd laugh at this stuff but this looks very genuine to me. If this man is an actor, give him an Academy Award because he's one of the best actors I've ever seen. What do you think? Is it real?
