This is supposed to be private information but I am sharing with you (in case you are also growing you business)

I am focusing on the growth of CashOverflow. I have written enough content in 2016 & 2017 on my blog but could not focus on writing in 2018. 

Guess how many articles I published in 2018 on CashOverflow?
Less than 10 :) 

Yes, that's true. 

I was able to maintain the same level of traffic by updating existing posts. 

Then traffic started dropping in the last quarter of the year because of multiple SEO updates from Google. 

When Google started giving us bad surprises.. YouTube gave us positive hope. 

I overcame my fears of recording videos in 2018.. and now creating video content for YouTube channel.. 

Starting with 500 subscribers with the aim to hit 2000 subscribers by end of Feb.. and then growing to 1,00,000 and above.. 

I am not an expert at YouTube marketing.. learning bit by bit (sharing what I know)

We can learn collaboratively. 
I will keep sharing what I am learning.. and you can also share what worked for you. 

Currently, I am focusing on 2 things
#1. Taking interviews of subject matter experts for the YouTube channel
#2. Focusing on keyword research for YouTube

Just look at what I have on my YouTube channel at this time

A couple of videos on credit cards and online business. 

My target is to align the videos with the written content of CashOverflow.. then putting the link of videos in relevant articles. 

So the blog traffic gonna stick with videos as well. 

That's step #3. 

I can't say anything about the numbers but my goals are really really high. 

The primary focus should always be to provide the value to my readers and YouTube subscribers. 

You can learn exactly what I am learning.. replicate what I am doing on my YouTube channel.
